"Holistic Physical Therapy is the only place to go in Monroe. The staff is awesome. They do not hesitate to assist you with any need. Linda (the PT) does not just treat your "problem" area, she treats the whole you. You're not another patient she needs to squeeze in before lunch, she really listens to you. You finish your therapy with an education about how you need to care for the renewed you. I like Holistic because Linda doesn't just stick you on a bike and leave you for 20 minutes alone either. And many of the places in Monroe do not have experienced therapists or licensed therapists. So if you want quality start to finish, compassionate care with a better understanding of what you need to do to live better, don't waste another day in pain, go see Linda. I have seen her for over 13 years for many different issues with my health and she has always helped fix me."

"I had thought I only had 2 options, either surgery which meant 8 to 12 weeks off work or live with the severe shoulder pain. A good friend referred me to HPT who gave me another option, therapy. I was eagerly willing to try anything to keep me clear of the knife and drugs, so even though skeptical, I went for it. Any of the doubts I may have had were soon erased by personal professionalism, a warm and friendly environment, most of all, impressive results through the thorough care I received.
That was 2 years ago. I have full range of motion in both shoulders to date, very little (if any) pain but manage it through a bit of home therapy I was taught, and as an added bonus, I now know how to tie my running shoes properly.
Thanks to Linda and her staff, I never had surgery, and I don't have to live with pain."

" I had severe back pain and was referred by a doctor for physical therapy. I requested the therapist to be Linda Lauer since I've known her for years. Linda was great. She made sure that everything was done to strengthen  my back and eliminate my pain. This was done over a period of 6-8 weeks. Not all  of the costs were covered by insurance. However. I knew the cost that I paid out of pocket was worth the professional care. I have had experiences with other physical therapy clinics where they put "you" to work and walk away. You aren't sure what you should be doing, if your doing it right until they decide to return. It's not like that with Linda. She's hands on. Always lets you know what she's going to do and why it is necessary.I appreciated that. It was truly worth the out of pocket fees. This was 4-5 years ago and I'm still pain free today. Linda is a professional in all sense of the word."

"Linda is an angel. I drive 38 miles one way to see her. I have fibromyalgia and I cannot believe the amazing results that I have seen working with her. Physical Therapy should not be the word for her work...because people think  machines, weights, etc.  She is hands on using the newest techniques that are helping people all over the country. She is a person who strives to learn more, to share and is a truly remarkable person.
Monroe, be thankful to have the best serving you.  She's around the corner... now go see how she can help you!
Thank you Linda for all you do!"

Quotes from our Patient Surveys:
"The therapist is giving only 'you' her undivided attention--instead of having 3 or 4 patients at a time . . . The staff is very professional, yet personal, too. I've learned a lot about the whole 'mind and body' connection . . . I have never had a P.T. clinic even mention this before . . . You try several different methods of treatment and not just heat packs and ultrasound." -- D.G.
"[Therapy] covers all of the issues that I have completely; dealing with mind, body, and spirit in my therapy is working and has helped me to see my total 'rehab' as a progress in my  whole life . . . I feel that not only is my body healing but my mind also. I am feeling better!" -- R.L.
"I have been coming here for almost 15 years and I have not grown tired of learning ways to grow and care for myself." -- H.
"I have benefited from the thorough explanation of what is going on with my body . . . Linda listens very well and gives exercises, checks on how I'm doing them, and follows through." -- K.M."
"I like the holistic approach: treating all of me instead of just my injury. I also like the relaxing atmosphere of the historic house, the soothing music, the conversation, individualized care, the personal touch, peace and quiet. No 'gym chaos.' I like the variety of exercises and therapies." -- M.S.
"Very personal attention to individual needs. Personable staff making you always feel welcome and appreciated. Always working with you to keep you informed of what is being done in your treatment and what you can do for yourself. Instead of using machines, the manual manipulation techniques help you and your body work together. Linda always is concerned about you, as a person, not just a number. She looks at the whole, not just the specific problem, to find a solution." -- S.B.
