I am a survivor of breast cancer, since 1991.
I lost my mother to cancer in 2004. My story is much like many of yours. At 40 yrs old I was told I had breast cancer.
I went through the normal stages, reacting first with denial, then fear, then anger, then finally acceptance. I never entertained the thought that I would die though.
I finally decided to do what ever I had to, to be cured of cancer and never deal with it again.
This was the time in my life when it became very clear to me, how the power of the mind can help the body heal. You are what you think, you manifest what you think.
Quote from Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, author of “Death and Dying” :
“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”
Cancer survivors shine that inner light very brightly!
We can know ourselves and our capacities by seeing that other women have been strong and survived. They have met the challenges of life honestly and courageously.
Be positive. Have an attitude of gratitude.
